Drasken Uptime

Check your websites, APIs, ports and HTTPS certificates from outside with Drasken Uptime, part of Drasken Cloud — monitors, intervals and plan limits.

Drasken Uptime checks your websites, APIs, ports and HTTPS certificates from outside, every few minutes, and shows whether each one is up, how fast it answered and its uptime over time. It is part of Drasken Cloud: open Monitoring → Uptime in the console and select Add monitor. It works for any public address, hosted on Drasken Cloud or anywhere else.

What can a monitor check?

TypeChecks
Website or APIAn http:// or https:// address answers with an expected status, optionally containing a given text
PortA public port accepts connections
CertificateA site's HTTPS certificate is valid and not about to expire

Only public addresses can be checked. Ports must be 80, 443 or 1024 and above; database ports such as 5432 can't be checked from outside.

Step 1: Choose what to check

Open Monitoring → Uptime, select Add monitor and choose Website or API, Port or Certificate.

Step 2: Enter the address and options

For a website or an API:

  • Address: the full http:// or https:// address.
  • The range of status codes that count as up.
  • Give up after (seconds): 1 to 30, default 10.
  • Page must contain (optional): text the response must include, up to 200 characters.
  • Method (GET or HEAD), IPv4 or IPv6, Follow redirects (up to 5), Use HTTP/2, and request headers. Header values you add are never shown in lists; the monitor's page shows their names only.

Step 3: Name it and choose how often

Give the monitor a name (up to 100 characters), optionally link it to a project, and choose the interval: every 5, 10 or 15 minutes. Checks run from Mumbai.

Step 4: Save

The first result appears within one interval. The monitor's page has Overview (status, response time, uptime), Checks (every check and its result) and Settings; Edit, Pause and Delete are on the page. A paused monitor still counts towards your limit.
