Short answers to the questions customers ask most. Each answer links to the page with the detail.
What is Drasken Cloud?
A cloud platform in India for running software: apps from container images, managed MySQL, PostgreSQL and Valkey databases, volumes, backups and uptime monitoring, managed from one console and billed monthly in rupees with a GST invoice. See How Drasken Cloud is organised.
Where does Drasken Cloud run?
In the Mumbai region, India. See Regions.
Do I need to know about servers to use it?
No. You give Drasken Cloud a container image or choose a database; the platform runs it, gives it an HTTPS address, restarts it if it fails and shows its logs and metrics.
How am I billed?
By the hour for what runs, never more than each resource's monthly price in a month, with one GST invoice per calendar month paid automatically from your payment method. See How billing works.
Do prices include GST?
No. Prices exclude GST; it is added on your invoice. See Invoices and GST.
Do I have to top up a balance?
No. Drasken Cloud bills monthly after the month ends; there is no balance to top up. Add a payment method — UPI Autopay, a card or a bank account.
Am I charged for a stopped app or database?
Not for its size. Its storage, such as volumes and database storage, is still charged.
Which databases can I create?
MySQL 8.4, PostgreSQL 17 and 18, and Valkey 9.0 and 9.1. See Engines and versions.
Are my databases backed up?
Yes. MySQL, PostgreSQL and durable Valkey databases are backed up daily and each backup kept for 7 days unless you choose another schedule. PostgreSQL and Valkey backups can be restored into a new database. See Backups.
Can I connect to my database from my laptop?
Not yet: databases are reachable from apps and jobs in the same project. Connections from the internet are coming soon. See Connect to a database.
Can I use my own domain?
Custom domains are coming soon. Every app already has its own HTTPS address. See Domains.
Can I deploy from GitHub?
Not yet. Build your image in your own CI, push it to a registry, and deploy it; private registries such as GitHub Container Registry are supported. See Private registries.
Is there an API?
Not yet; a public API is coming soon. See API reference.
Can several people work in one organisation?
Yes. Invite them with a role — Owner, Admin, Member or Billing. See Members and roles.
How do I get help?
Open Support → New request in the console or write to support@draskencloud.com. See Support.
